Whenever this question comes up, my answer is the same: No. 4. The Iron Horse. Lou Gehrig. The guy's stats are staggering. 184 RBI in one season? Are you kidding me?
I just cast my vote with ESPN.
I voted for Lou Gehrig before I read Alan's post about his vote. Perhaps this is my big brother's influence on me, but there's no question in my mind that #4 was the greatest.
