0-1 at home

Yanks got pounded, 10-2, in their first official game at the new Yankee Stadium. It was a great game until the 7th inning, when the bullpen completely imploded. Opening ceremony was nice. And at least a Yankee got the first hit in the new stadium (Damon) and the first homerun (Posada). Sabbathia was also decent. Other than that, it was awful.

Same old same old with the bullpen..incompetent..ineffective. Verass should be sent to Scranton already..I think Hughes or Kennedy could do AT LEAST as well, if not better, in a setup situation. Same for Dumbasso Marte..piece of crap. Ooohhh..but he's a quality lefty...yeh..on the PIRATES he was a quality lefty. I could be a quality lefty on the Pirates, and I don't pitch..and I'm a righty..

PLUS..this wasn't just any game - this was the HISTORIC first game...Verass (yes..VerASS) has been ineffective..that's who Girardi brings in?? If he keeps on making dumbass moves like this, he'll be gone by the All-Star break.

If the pitching isn't bad enough..what..like 15 men left on base?? Tex batting like a buck o five? Too many holes in this lineup right now..Gardner, Ransom, on some days Molina, and when the going gets tough, Girardi starts littering the field with rookies. Ever heard of a come-from-behind-win Joe?

I'm not happy today!
