Lost amid all of the hype and flack of Joe Torre's book and A-Rod's steroids is the fact the Yankees had an amazing off season. Watched some of the pre-season game on YES last night and liked what I saw. Sabathia, Texiera and Burnett are huge. Jorge looks good. The lineup is menacing. Let the drive for 27 begin!

Yanks cruise to A.L. East title and blow through playoffs in 11 games. Open the new joint with a bang. Babe is pleased.
We'll see.
Pitching staff will be one of the best in MLB if all remain healthy but the rest of the team is questionable at best. A-Rod out for weeks, Jeter overrated and horrible fielder, Texeira should be great, Cano & Nady are iffy.
